What does the free scan check?
The free scan runs 150+ automated checks across seven areas: cookie consent, GDPR/privacy, accessibility, security headers, image copyright, legal pages, and third-party trackers. You get a health score and a summary of issues found.
What do I get with the paid report?
The paid report (€2,50) adds full finding details with screenshots, step-by-step fix instructions, and a downloadable PDF. The free scan shows you what is wrong; the report tells you exactly how to fix it.
How long does a scan take?
Most scans complete in 60 seconds. Sites with many pages or slow servers may take up to 3 minutes.
Will the scan affect my website?
No. The scanner reads your pages the same way a browser would. It never modifies anything, submits forms, or logs in. We respect robots.txt and stay within 1 request per second.
My site got a low score — what should I do?
Start with the CRITICAL and HIGH findings. Each finding in the paid report includes a plain-language explanation and a fix checklist. If you need help, send the report to your web developer — the instructions are written for developers too.
Can I scan a site I do not own?
Only scan sites you own or have explicit permission to test. Scanning third-party sites without permission may violate their terms of service.
How do I pay?
We use Stripe Checkout — no account required. You can pay by card, iDEAL, Bancontact, or any other method Stripe offers in your region. You get a receipt by email immediately after payment.
Can I get a refund?
If your report failed to generate or is missing significant content, contact us within 7 days and we will refund or re-run the scan. Because reports are generated on demand we cannot offer refunds for change of mind.
Is this legal advice?
No. TrustYourWebsite is technical analysis, not legal advice. We flag technical indicators of compliance gaps. For legal advice on whether your site meets specific regulatory requirements, consult a lawyer.
How do I delete my data?
Email [object Object] and we will remove your scan results and contact details within 30 days.
